The historic charm of the Rose & Crown in Guildford truly captivated us. The staff were attentive, making our family feel welcomed and special. Dinner at the pub was delightful, with every dish impressively crafted and served quickly.

Though charming, we did face a bit of noise from nearby flights and trains that might disturb light sleepers. Breakfast options were limited for hotel guests, but that didn’t overshadow our overall experience.

I had a lovely night with a comfy king bed and a clean, spacious bathroom. The outdoor pool was a great spot to relax after my day. There was a nice garden area to unwind in too. One small thing was that the room could've used a couple more chairs, but it didn't take away from my experience. 😊

The staff provided amazing service that made our experience memorable, especially when they offered to take us on a history tour of the area. The tandoori dishes at the restaurant were a delightful surprise, adding a flavorful twist to the menu. room one was quite dark, lacking natural light, which detracted from the overall atmosphere. some chairs in the dining area felt hard, making it uncomfortable for longer meals, and the noise from nearby flights could be an issue for light sleepers.
